Korean baritone Taesung Kim studied vocal performance at the Sunhwa Arts School and Seoul International University, and later at the Mozarteum University Salzburg, where he completed his Master’s and Postgraduate studies in Opera and Music Theatre in 2023. He has appeared in numerous opera productions, performing works by Mozart, Puccini, Britten, Gounod and Monteverdi, in roles such as Figaro, Leporello, Guglielmo and Papageno. He is currently completing the postgraduate program in Lied and Oratorio at the Mozarteum Salzburg with Prof. Stephan Genz and is active as a soloist and ensemble singer in various concert and opera projects.

Fernando Araujo was born in São Paulo, Brazil, where he studied piano, composition and voice. He attended Indiana University, Bloomington, USA, and the Mozarteum University, Salzburg, as well as the Young Artists‘ Program of the Pacific Music Festival in Japan and the Verbier Festival in Switzerland. Career highlights include collaborations as a soloist with conductors such as Fabio Luisi, Hans Graf and Dennis Russell Davies as Papageno in the Munich Philhamonie, Escamillo at the Lithuanian National Opera, Gianni Schicchi at the Perm Opera & Ballet Theatre and Rigoletto at the Festival Winds of Baikal in Russia, as well as concerts at the Grosses Festspielhaus in Salzburg, the Auditório Nacional de Música in Madrid, the National Theaters in Bucharest and Timisoara in Romania, and the National Opera in Damascus, Syria. He is Senior Lecturer at the Mozarteum University and Artistic Director of the Mozart Dinner Concert in Salzburg

Music has always determined the life of the Salzburg native. During her school years at the “Musisches Gymnasium Salzburg”, she gave various performances with the school and selection choir. The popular, charming and quick-witted radio presenter from Salzburg made her opera debut at the Salzburg Festival at the age of only 18. Conductor Nikolaus Harnoncourt personally engaged her as Barbarina in W.A. Mozart‘s “Le nozze di Figaro“ under the direction of Nikolaus Harnoncourt and Luc Bondy. She is thus still the youngest vocal soloist in the history of the Salzburg Festival. Only afterwards did she begin her classical opera singing studies at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. Engagements followed as Blonde, Pamina, Susanna, Cherubino, Adele, Rosalinde, Gretel, Carmen, among others. Every day from 5 a.m. onwards, together with her colleague Christian, she presents the morning show on Antenne Salzburg, one of the most successful on Austrian radio, awarded the Austrian Radio Prize.

Anastasia Churakova

The soprano Anastasia Churakova is a graduate of the Mozarteum University in Salzburg (Bachelor’s, Master’s and a postgraduate degree in opera). Whilst still a student, she appeared at the Gut Immling Festival as Gianetta (L’elisir d’amore), Ännchen (Der Freischütz) and Zerlina (Don Giovanni). At the Mozarteum, she also sang the role of Gnese in Il Campiello and Miss Jessel in Britten’s The Turn of the Screw. In 2023, she made her debut as Nedda in Leoncavallo’s I Pagliacci at the RathausOper in Konstanz. This was followed in 2024 by her debut at the Festival della Valle d’Itria in Nino Rota’s Aladino e la lampada magica. In 2026, she will appear in Konstanz as Giulia in Rossini’s La scala di seta. As a concert singer, she has collaborated with, amongst others, the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie and the Anima Musicae Chamber Orchestra, and has performed at events including the Szent Gellért Festival. The soprano also performs in Vienna as part of the Imperial Gala Concerts.

Yevheniy Kapitula

Was born in the Ukraine, studied singing, conducting, composition and counterpoint, among others at the Lviv Academy of Music. He has received a number of prizes, awards and scholarships, such as the Polish Ministry of Culture‘s “Gaude Polonia” scholarship and a scholarship to participate in the opera workshop in Sigriswill (Switzerland). He has performed in Poland, France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In addition to opera singing, Yevheniy Kapitula also devotes himself to the concert repertoire. In the 2014/2015 season he was a scholarship soloist at the Vienna State Opera, where he sang roles such as Fiorello (“Il barbiere de Siviglia”), Marullo (“Rigoletto”) and Hans (“Undine”). At Neue Oper Wien he sang the role of Meton in Ernst Krenek‘s opera “Pallas Athene cries” in the 2016/2017 season. Since 2016 he has been in the chorus of the Landestheater Salzburg and repeatedly takes on solo roles in opera (Hermann in “The Tales of Hoffmann”, Monsieur de Brétigny in “Manon”, Monsù Traversen in “La Gazzetta”, Theatre Director in Donizzetti‘s “Viva la Diva”) and others. In 2020 he should have debuted at the Salzburg Festival as Chernikovsky (cancelled because of Covid). In 2022 he has his debut in the title role of Mendelssohn‘s “Elijah” (Mainz, Darmstadt ) with the Ensemble Chordial Mainz and Heidelberg Kantatenorchester. In the 2022/2023 season he sang the role of the Oberkellner in the world premiere of “Kaisers Neuer Walzer” by Alma Deutscher and the role of Robert in Iolanta. Since 2017 he has been a member of the Amadeus Consort Salzburg and appears as baritone soloist at the Mozart Dinner Concerts.

Born in Ankara, Turkey. Completed his singing education at the Hacettepe University State Conservatory and the Master Program at the Conservatory of „ Alfredo Casella in L‘Aquila Italy, Opera Studio of Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, Rome and Mozarteum International summer academy. He made his debut as Papageno in W. A. Mozart‘ s "The Magic Flute“ in 2001. Since then he performed on stage over 60 roles from the operas like; Candide, Falstaff, Tosca, Rigoletto, La Traviata, La Cenerentola , Aida, Fidelio, The Rake‘s Progress etc... He won numerous of prizes in national and international singing competitions.

Mantas Gacevicius

Mantas Gacevičius was born in Kaunas, Lithuania, and received his initial vocal training from Sabina Martinaitytė at Vytautas Magnus University. He subsequently continued his studies at the Mozarteum in Salzburg under Barbara Bonney, where he attended Josef Wallnig’s opera class and Breda Zakotnik’s art song class. He is a prize-winner at several international competitions, including the Grandi Voci in Austria.

As a baritone, he appears in various opera productions in Austria and abroad. For several years, he has been a permanent member of the Salzburg Festival ensemble, where he performs the role of the Crier in the world-famous Jedermann on Cathedral Square. At the Bad Ischl Operetta Festival, he was engaged as a soloist at the Lehár Theatre. In addition, he regularly performs as a bass soloist at masses and sacred concerts in various churches.

At the Mozart Dinner Concert, he delights international audiences with arias from Mozart’s great masterpieces.

Justyna Ilnicka

Justyna Ilnicka studied singing in Poland with the world-renowned singer Teresa Żylis-Gara, among others. She graduated from the University Mozarteum Salzburg with a Master‘s degree with distinction. Justyna is a laureate of numerous competitions such as the ”Grand Prix“ of the International Competition A. Kucingis in Lithuania. She received invitations as a soloist as well as a chamber singer to perform as a guest in important festivals - BBC PROMS, Salzburg Festival, Wratislavia Cantans, Chiemgau Opera Festival, Bach Festival Schweidnitz.She is active not only as a singer, but also as a singing teacher/voice coach.

Karolína Plicková studied singing at the Prague Conservatoire and musical theatre at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg. She won the international singing competition ‘European Song Contest’, received the Salzburg Landestheater’s audience award for ‘Most Popular Singer’ and was a finalist in the ‘Grandi Voci’ competition in Salzburg. As a long-standing member of the ensemble at the Salzburg Landestheater, she impressed in roles including Susanna in W.A. Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro, Ginevra in G.F. Handel’s Ariodante and Adina in G. Donizetti’s L’elisir d’amore. In 2017, she made her debut at the Buxton Festival in England as Cinna in Mozart’s Lucio Silla. Other notable roles included Vitellia in Mozart’s La clemenza di Tito, Fiordiligi in Mozart’s Così fan tutte and Isabella in R. Wagner’s Das Liebesverbot at the Bad Aibling Opera Festival. In the Czech Republic, she sang the title roles in C.W. Gluck’s Iphigenia in Aulis and Alceste. With Opera Incognita, she appeared as Rosalinde in J. Strauss’s Die Fledermaus and as Leonore in L.v. Beethoven’s Fidelio.

Dilay Girgin

Dilay Girgin (born 1988, Turkey) is an internationally active coloratura soprano. She began her vocal training at the age of 13; in 2010, she graduated from the Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory as top of her year. She made her stage debut in 2008 as Amore in Gluck’s Paride ed Elena. In 2011–12, she was a member of the Opera Studio Nederland ensemble and appeared in roles including Musetta, Zerlina and Yniold. In 2014, she won first prize, as well as the Young Talent Prize and the Audience Prize, at the International Grandi Voci Competition. This was followed by numerous engagements, notably as the Queen of the Night in Mozart’s The Magic Flute, including at the Oper im Berg Festival in Salzburg, the Schloss Amerang Opera Festival and the Salzburg Children’s Festival. Her repertoire also includes major coloratura roles such as Violetta, Gilda, Lucia, Elvira, Olympia, Rosina and Blonde. Guest engagements have taken her to Austria, Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark. In 2020, she sang Mozart’s Great Mass in C minor and Exsultate, jubilate in Linz and at Salzburg Cathedral. She has received high praise on several occasions from the international opera magazine Der Neue Merker for her performances.

Julia Meingassner

Julia Meingassner was born in Ulyanovsk, Russia. After studying at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow, she was a prize-winner at the 19th International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition in Vienna. As a soloist in numerous theatres such as the Moscow Helicon Opera, the Vienna Chamber Opera, the summer arena of the Baden Theatre near Vienna and the Görlitz City Theatre in Germany, Julia Meingassner has delighted audiences with great roles in her field such as Queen of the Night (”The Magic Flute“), Zerlina (”Don Giovanni“), Despina (”Così fan tutte“), Norina (”Don Pasquale“), Olympia (”Les contes d‘Hoffmann“) and many more. Since 2010, the artist has performed in Mozart concerts and song recitals in Salzburg, her adopted home and performs with internationally renowned artists and chamber ensembles (Mozart Quartett Salzburg, Amadeus Consort Salzburg, Salzburg Cathedral Music). Nicola Ziccardi

Nicola Ziccardi is an Italian baritone who performs internationally in opera. He has appeared at renowned theatres and musical institutions in Italy and abroad, including the Teatro La Fenice in Venice, the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the Musikverein and the Vienna State Opera, the Augsburg State Theatre, the Innsbruck State Theatre, and as part of the Circuito Toscano. His repertoire includes leading roles by Mozart, Rossini, Donizetti and Verdi. Throughout his career, he has worked with leading conductors such as Gustav Kuhn and Daniele Carignani, as well as with renowned directors such as Vizioli and Damiano Michieletto. His most recent engagements include Germont in La Traviata, Count Luna in Il Trovatore and Dandini in La Cenerentola.

His upcoming projects include a concert with the Budapest Philharmonic Orchestra and his New York debut as Don Alfonso in Così fan tutte. Alongside his international singing career, he is Artistic Director of Operastudio Molise, the Molise Vocal Academy and the Watzmann Operastudio.

Young Austrian soprano Donata Meyer-Kranixfeld is doing her Master‘s in opera with Bernd Valentin, Kai Röhrig and Florentine Klepper and her Master‘s in lied and oratorio with Pauliina Tukiainen and Andreas Schmidt. She can be heard regularly as a soloist in Austria, Germany and Belgium. She is not only in demand as a soloist in Austria, but can also be heard regularly on various stages in Germany and Belgium. Her repertoire includes Rosalinde in “Die Fledermaus”, Gretel in “Hänsel und Gretel” and Agathe in “Der Freischütz”
